"The 800 Snugbus"

Snugbus provides vital evening hospital and community links

Route 800 "Snugbus" is a unique service in the capital, funded by the Government's Urban Bus Challenge and Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trusts to complement the public transport network.

Vice-chair of Transport for London Dave Wetzel said:

"This community service fits in well with the Mayors Transport Strategy to improve bus services as it provides a comfortable link for hospital staff, patients and visitors alike. CCTV on board will help people feel safer about travelling in the evening. I congratulate all those who have been responsible for the planning and implementation of this innovative service and wish the service every success."
